The falling or flying Tour 2025 North America by British singer-songwriter Jorja Smith will visit The Anthem in Washington, D.C., on Thursday, March 13. Her critically acclaimed third studio album, falling or flying, was released in 2023 and is being supported by this tour. Beginning in Austin, Texas, on February 18, the North American leg included stops in major cities like Houston, Atlanta, Chicago, and Toronto before ending with the performance in Washington, D.C.
Jorja Smith’s 2016 single “Blue Lights” and her 2018 debut album, Lost & Found, brought her initial international acclaim. She has worked with artists like Drake and Kendrick Lamar (an unexpected duo to mention in the same breath) and is well-known for her gorgeous, soulful voice and powerful lyrics. Her artistic growth shines through in falling or flying, where she blends jazz, soul, and R&B to explore themes of love and self-discovery.
Maverick Sabre, an Irish-English singer-songwriter known for his blend of R&B, soul, and hip-hop, will open for Jorja Smith. With hits like “Let Me Go,” and collaborations with artists like Jorja Smith and Joey Bada$$, Maverick Sabre will definitely deliver a memorable night with his emotionally charged performances.
