Local singer-songwriter Samantha Haas (HAAS) joined WGMU’s Jackie Reed in the on-air studio on Friday, December 8. From Manassas, Virginia, she’s done covers from WALK THE MOON, Harry Styles, and Lukas Graham, all while creating her own music too. Her rock and pop-alternative covers are inspired by artists like Fleetwood Mac, PVRIS, and Paramore. Haas stopped by to talk about her upbringing in music, the stories behind her songwriting, and her upcoming EP.
