An Evening with PJ Harvey at The Anthem
Go To This Because We Asked So Nicely – A Concert Preview
By Kate Trebra
PJ Harvey is an acclaimed British singer-songwriter known for her genre-defying sound and raw voice. Beginning her musical career with 1992’s Dry, she quickly rose to fame with her heavy lyrics contrasting against a minimal sound. She is the first and remains the only artist who has won the prestigious Mercury Award twice, once in 2001 with her album Stories from the City, Stories from the Sea, and again in 2011 with Let England Shake.
