Cris Jacobs at The Lincoln Theatre
Go To This Because We Asked So Nicely – A Concert Preview
By Emily Gill
Cris Jacobs is a DMV born and raised singer-songwriter labeled “The King of Baltimore rock ‘n roll” by Baltimore Magazine. His upcoming tour will be supporting the release of his 3rd studio album, One of These Days. This album addresses finding peace and acceptance within yourself in the chaotic world that we live in. Jacobs has a folk, bluegrass and roots-rock kind of sound that’ll make you feel right at home. His most popular song (with almost 2.5 million plays on Spotify), “Jack The Whistle And The Hammer”, is reminiscent of a classic old rock song you may have listened to in the car with your dad as a kid. If you like the Black keys, are a Bob Dylan fan, or deep down are a boot-stomping, rock-loving soul then you’ll love Cris Jacobs.
