ONE PACT is a South Korean boy group under Armada Entertainment. The five-member group consists of Jongwoo, Jay Chang, Seongmin, TAG, and Yedam. With such a standout name, the group’s purpose is to come together and make an impact in the K-pop/music industry. Hence, ‘one’ and ‘impact’ are put together. Reflecting the influential name, the fans have an equally compelling name, that being: &heart. This is to illustrate the idea of an endless and destined encounter. Making their debut on November 30, 2023, the group is now nearing three years together since formation. Within that time frame, the group has released four mini albums, an EP, one Japanese single, and five digital singles! In under three years as a group, they’ve been nominated for Rookie of the Year at the 39th Golden Disc Awards, consistently been in the top rankings on Show! Champion, and won the Best Performance Musician on Music Bank. Currently, ONE PACT has released their most recent (5th) digital single titled “TUNED IN”. Like most K-pop groups, ONE PACT shares their artistic concept through their music. 

Even in such a small window of time, ONE PACT has managed to produce a mix of concepts, going from nerdy schoolboy, bright daylight, to trendy streetwear. The vocals for this group are equally on another level, with each member emulating a smooth quality in their voices with each track. Speaking of music, TAG actually is the producer and writer for the majority of the group’s discography. Fans feel like they’re able to connect to the musical identity of the group because of his creative direction. Having a group member take the reins of the music, it allows him to highlight the group members’ strengths in musicality while creating the distinction to make them stand out from the sea of K-pop groups currently active in the industry. Due to this creative perseverance, it’s what drew attention to the group as fans followed to see their musical journey. Before their debut, the group had already attracted many eyes with their appearances on a variety of survival shows, where they showcased their vocal skills. Surprisingly, all of the members actually participated in the popular survival show “Boys Planet” before coming together as a group. With still a long and bright road ahead, this upcoming tour is to shine upon everything ONE PACT has to showcase now and up ahead!

The group’s top track currently is “DESERVED”, sitting at 3.3 million streams.
