Position Description: Maintaining the overall operations of the station. This includes overseeing all of it’s staff consisting of seven departmental directors, a deputy director of finance and a deputy director of operations. Also, overseeing around 40 DJ’s/on-air personalities, volunteers, budget, studios and etc. Also responsible for training potential on-air volunteers, working with them on show formulation, approving them to go on-air once proficiency is reached, approving potential programs and to create/maintain the on-air studio programming schedule organization along with that of the practice studio.
What you love about working at WGMU: The DJ’s, our great volunteers, the staff and the excitement of radio.
Hobbies: Hanging out with my friends, politics, news, sailing, and spending a lot of time on the computer.
