Major: Communication with a concentration in Journalism and a double minor in Public Policy and Management and Criminology

Position Description: Basically overseeing everything WGMU. This includes overseeing our executive and general staff which totals to around 20 people. I work closely with the Program Director in overseeing the on-air program schedule, the 45+ DJ’s in the on-air studio and over 65 hours of live and original programming on-air every week. I also work closely with our Operations Manager in overseeing the practice studio, meeting with new volunteers interested in WGMU and approving people to go on-air. Another big part of my job is the development and implementation of WGMU’s policies, along with the enforcement and oversight of those policies in-conjunction with the PD and Operations Manager.  I act as WGMU’s main liaison to the University administration. And as GM I also serve as the teaching assistant to COMM 148 and 348.

What you love about working at WGMU: The DJ’s, our great volunteers, the staff and the excitement of radio.

Hobbies: Hanging out with my friends, politics, news, sailing, and spending a lot of time on the computer.
