Singer-songwriter JMSN comes to Washington D.C.’s 9:30 Club on his Scared Straight Tour for his most recent album ... it’s only about u if you think it is. As an artist, JMSN puts his heart and soul into everything about his work, from the music to the merch (which is all handled directly by him). With extensive experience across many aspects of the music industry – from his band, Love Arcade, to starting his own record label, White Room Records – JMSN creates a compelling sound with a combination of interesting production, vocals, and lyrics.
JMSN is joined by opener Angélica Garcia. Garcia’s song “Jícama” gained attention in 2019 after being included in Barack Obama’s favorites of the year. Her third studio album, Gemelo, was released in June of 2024 and contains several of her most popular tracks such as “Paloma” and “Juanita.”
