So what are we about?
Freelance sports writer/photographer John Powell, Broadside’s own Cody Norman and Mason Ambassador/Patriot Platoon leader Dan Zimmet host The Morning Breakdown. We’re three conflicting personalities with a lot to yell about.
Yeah, we’ll tell you more about ourselves because we have just that much narcissism:
John Powell is a junior from Fredericksburg, VA. He is also a soulless member of the “media” who hides his inner desire to be a fan of sports behind a silly laminated piece of paper on a lanyard. John is so neutral that while we were creating this Facebook page, he selected our gender as neutral, as not to offend any of Mason’s more “progressive” students. John Powell is so media-neutral, he wouldn’t root for a cure for cancer, if he had to cover the story.
Cody Norman was a huge Cam Long and Jim Larranaga apologist. Even though one of them broke his heart by moving to Miami, he hasn’t learned his lesson. This Cleveland sports fan knows nothing more than how to get his heart broken by sports teams and personalities wherever he goes. Hopefully Paul Hewitt won’t continue the trend.
Dan Zimmet is the newest addition to TMB, but seems to know what he is talking about. Right now we can’t find anything bitter, cruel or callous to say about him, but the longer he is on the show, the more material we can use against him.
