The Patriots men’s basketball team finished with a 11W-21L record last year in the Atlantic 10 Conference. Becker talked to Coach Simpkins about expectations heading into the upcoming basketball season, Coach Paulsen’s contract extension, the secret to recruiting, and leadership on the team. Coach Simpkins was also a former college player for the Maryland Terrapins. He played under legendary college basketball coach, Gary Williams. Becker last asked Coach Simpkins to share a few stories about how it was like to play under Gary Williams.

He is widely regarded as one of his generation’s most respected lyricists and poets. We talked to Seez about how he got into music and the message behind his last album ‘Cruel Fuel’. Seez Mics is is also a huge sports fan and has known the guys from The Sports Junkies on DC’s 106.7 The Fan since 1996. We asked Seez about his relationship with The Junkies, Josh Norman to the Redskins, and his favorite players growing up, Larry Bird of the NBA’s Boston Celtics and Christian Okoye, who was a former half-back player for the NFL’s Kansas City Chiefs from ’87-’92.

Now she is the Founding Copy Chief of TheRelish.com, a website dedicated to women who are sports fans. W talked to Rachel about how it felt to being the first female sports columnist in the country. Rachel has also covered various sporting events including Super Bowls, World Series, Olympics, Stanley Cup Finals, Wimbledon, the Masters, to even the National Rodeo Finals. We lastly talked to Rachel about her thoughts on the 2016 Rio Olympics.

We first started locally, with GMU men’s basketball’s upcoming season, Coach Paulsen’s contact extension, & reminiscing on the 10 yr. anniversary of the Patriots 2006 Final Four run. The Plugs w/ Guest CSN BAL Ravens Insider, Clifton Brown

We talked about how last year was the first time in the John Harbaugh & Joe Flacco era, that the team failed to make the playoffs. We tied that with the Ravens key summer signings & losses, the identity of the team, expectations, and the AFC North as a whole going into this upcoming NFL season. We lastly asked Mr. Brown his opinion about a storyline that people aren’t paying enough attention to heading into next year. We added a PLUGS EXTRA breakdown in the last few minutes!
